The Merchant's Murder

London, November 1251. A wealthy merchant is found smothered in his bed after a night of drinking and dicing. A second merchant is at a loss to discover who is stealing valuable objects from his home. A twelve-year-old girl, after fleeing an abusive home to the protection of an elderly widow, realizes that her new shelter comes with a high price.
